Yikong Intelligent and Lanzhou University Launch Deep Industry–University Cooperation to Build a New Talent Development Platform

Yikong Intelligent, a leading force in China’s industrial automation industry, is proud to announce the formal signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Lanzhou University. Beginning in November 2025, the two parties will embark on a comprehensive industry–university collaboration and jointly establish the “Talent Training Base of the School of Management, Lanzhou University.” The initiative aims to explore new integrated talent development models, strengthen resource sharing, combine academic and industrial advantages, and cultivate future-oriented management professionals who can bridge theory and practice.
Joining Hands to Create a New Ecosystem for Talent cultivation
Lanzhou University is a key national university directly under the Ministry of Education and a core institution within China’s “Project 985,” “Project 211,” and the national “Double First-Class” development program. Guided by the philosophy of “Pursuit of Truth and Innovation,” its School of Management is committed to fostering top-tier management professionals, academic scholars, and high-level managerial technology experts, earning strong recognition both in China and abroad.
With 22 years of technological accumulation, Yikong Intelligent is a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise focused on the R&D, manufacturing, and application of AGV/AMR core motion-control components, navigation systems, and intelligent scheduling platforms. Its product portfolio includes AGV drive wheels, servo drives, motors, and customized vehicle-level solutions. Supported by a modern 10,000 m² production facility and more than 200 patents, Yikong Intelligent serves over 10,000 customers across 35 countries, including Siemens, Tesla, and CRRC, delivering core technologies to advanced logistics, smart manufacturing, aerospace, and other high-end sectors.
Through this collaboration, both parties will combine academic expertise with industrial practice. Yikong Intelligent will offer stable internship opportunities, career-development support, and an immersive industry-learning environment for students from the School of Management. This will allow students to gain first-hand experience in high-end manufacturing and automation, while the company builds a strong and sustainable talent pipeline for future growth.
Looking Forward: Accelerating Industry–Academia Synergy
Both Yikong Intelligent and Lanzhou University have emphasized that this agreement marks only the beginning of a broader partnership. Building on the internship base, the cooperation will expand into co-developing courses, conducting collaborative research, introducing senior industry experts into classrooms, and jointly building laboratories, paving the way for a comprehensive “industry–education–research–application” innovation model.
This partnership will further enhance Lanzhou University’s “Double First-Class” discipline development efforts, deepen its approach to cultivating innovative management talent, and provide Yikong Intelligent with sustained intellectual support for technological leadership and industrial innovation. Ultimately, the collaboration will empower high-quality regional economic development and contribute to the continued upgrade of China’s intelligent manufacturing landscape.
